Brugmann Square Residence

We were commissioned to apply our technical expertise in Architectural for the exteriors & interiors of this luxury Brugmann Square Residence. The two buildings, remarkable for their architectural originality, were designed by Jean-Baptiste Dewin in the first part of the 20th century. With its historical and aesthetic facades and roofs, this residence is listed since 2004 as one of Brussels-Capital Region World Heritage sites.
Strong in historical monuments, we applied our expertise to propose a subtle concept design entirely based on LED lighting equipment for the exteriors. We were able to sublimate distinctive sections of the building such as eaves, pillars, and entry, while ensuring the general coherence with its surroundings.
The challenge consisted in the integration of made to measure lighting equipment, which had to remain invisible and dissimulated into the building.
The interior lighting design also came within our scope of works as the project consists of 25 luxurious apartments with concierge, pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam areas, massage rooms etc. We provided the lighting design consultancy with photometric studies, choice of adapted lighting equipment, corrective adjustments and verification of all the equipment, in order to offer a complete list of specifications and solutions that perfectly matched the vision of the developer and interior architect.
