National Pop Up Store
From 9th to 25th May, we illuminated the National Pop Up Store 2014 edition. This annual event brings together Belgian talents in the fields of design, fashion, music, cinema, visual arts, publishing, dance and gastronomy. Participating artists are nominated by established and internationally renowned figures. Events during this festival taking place in a 1500 square meters ephemeral space included movie screenings, fashion shows, innovation labs, concerts, multidisciplinary performances, brunches and networking meetings.
In the framework of this unique event, our creative team was called up to create a lighting scenography for the entire space and its numerous events. To obtain the best visual impact, we approached each space as a unique destination deserving its own lighting solutions. Enhancing the modern minimalistic set design and creating edgy atmospheres through the application of unconventional visual & lighting techniques, we highlighted the landmark color scheme of Nationa(a)l and added a little touch of “retro”.
