For the inauguration of the Diabolo project, a new railway line in Brussels, Infrabel commissioned our team to conceive a lighting design for its opening show. In a successful collaboration with DDMC agency and PRG EML, our creative team delivered an impressive visitor experience.
Our challenge consisted in enhancing a railway tunnel, while keeping in mind the need for a perfect suitability of the lighting equipment and the security on site. The set & lighting design imagined for this opening, highlighted the values of collaboration and innovation, and put forward the unique characteristics of the site. 672 LEDs, placed in the 1517 meters tunnel, formed a lighting sequence visible by all passengers of the inaugural train. Accompanying the live artistic performances, we produced a high quality experience for almost 10000 visitors and prestigious guests, including H.M. King Albert II.
