In 2009, the Futuroscope, one of Europe’s leading theme parks introduced a new ride attraction, based on Luc Besson’s film “Arthur and the Minimoys”. Together with Joravision – a specialist in design and realization of themed environments – ACTLD created the new attraction’s setting, lighting and A/V installation. Close cooperation was essential, notably to install all the “invisible” light fixtures and integrate them into the decor from the imaginary world of Besson’s movie. Through the exclusive use of LED lighting, we successfully produced an ecological and low maintenance ride without compromising on the esthetical quality of the attraction.
