Listen to your Eyes, is a custom light art installation, taking place during the Design September 2021 Edition in the premises of the Brasserie Surréaliste, one of Brussels’ most up-and-coming craft beer breweries. The installation itself illustrates the central idea that ACTLD can turn the simplest object into a crown jewel with very little, considering the spatial configuration and furthermost aiming to create an integral visual experience.
Architecture, Experience, Audio and Show Design are some of the expertises displayed from ACTLD’s portfolio. Listen to your Eyes core idea, was born closely to the chosen venue, a brewery and its star product: a beer in a can. The can, the simplest object, became the key for a dream. Surrealism and the thrive to take over the space, inspired the team to input their know-how and to reconstruct an unfinished room with a couple of columns, into what we call an experience room. Bringing together the best of lighting and architectural lighting in a single light show integrating one key element as our crown jewel of the night: the beer can. This main element acts as a singular focal point, a floating diamond shining in the middle of a blank space, while the rest of the room comes to life dynamically and embracing the visitor in a light and sound installation.
